It has been since 2011 that Phoenix saw an incredible haboob hit town, and luckily for me, on August 25th, 2025, I was there to capture it! An unbelievable chase from Picacho Peak all the way to Sky Harbor Airport where this was photographed.
This design is a collaboration between my original Sky Harbor Horror image and a ChatGPT prompt. I've always dreamed of having old western style drawings of my images but I'm a photographer, not a painter or pencilist. I decided to see what an AI model could do when asked to convert my photograph into a penciled copy.
