Back on July 5th, 2011, I stood on a parking garage overlooking Phoenix and what I witnessed over the course of the next 20 minutes would change my life.
A monster dust storm or HABOOB, was rolling over South Mountain, and then over the town of Phoenix itself. It was massive, like a scene from the movie Armageddon as the ship was about to emerge from the cloud over New York.
I captured the event on time-lapse, it went viral, the word haboob went mainstream and the rest is history.
I've wanted to make this shirt forever and ever, and finally have the design I was craving. Hope you enjoy.
